SAP CPI Consultant (Integration, BASIS & ERP Core)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP CPI Consultant (10+ years) with mandatory deep expertise in SAP CPI and BASIS to design, implement, and support integration solutions for an SAP landscape (S/4 HANA/ECC). The ideal candidate must have deep functional knowledge of ERP Core Modules and mandatory experience in the Pharmaceutical/Healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities include leading the definition of business requirements, designing solutions (including processes and change management), configuring and supporting S/4 HANA/ECC integrations, and demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex business challenges independently.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Deliverables :

SAP CPI and Integration Expertise :

- Leverage At least 10 years of experience on SAP CPI for designing, building, deploying, and monitoring complex integration flows (iFlows) between SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Apply expertise in BASIS fundamentals to ensure stable system connectivity, user management, transport management, and performance tuning for integrated landscapes.

- Proficiently utilize SAP CPI capabilities, including adapters (SOAP, REST, IDoc, SuccessFactors, OData), mapping (Groovy/JavaScript), security, and monitoring tools.

SAP ERP Core and Technical Proficiency :

- Demonstrate Deep knowledge of ERP Core Modules and Process Flows (e.g., Finance, Logistics, Procurement, Sales) to design meaningful and effective integrations.

- Be Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA/SAP ECC configuration, integration, and support, ensuring system readiness and integrity post-integration.

- Apply a Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems by translating functional needs into reliable technical integration specifications.

Consulting, Requirements, and Domain Focus :

- Possess Proven experience in facilitating the definition of business requirements and then designing and implementing solutions, including processes and managing change.

- Leverage mandatory Pharmaceutical and/or healthcare applications experience to understand industry-specific integration standards (e.g., serialization, GxP compliance).

- Manage and build strong relationships with internal business customers, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on project scope and delivery.

Professional Skills and Delivery :

- Apply Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills when interacting with technical teams and business stakeholders.

- Exhibit Ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively within a demanding project environment.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : At least 10 years of experience on SAP CPI and BASIS.

- SAP Core : Deep knowledge of ERP Core Modules and Process Flows and Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA/SAP ECC configuration, integration, and support.

- Domain : Mandatory Pharmaceutical and/or healthcare applications experience.

- Consulting : Proven experience in defining business requirements, designing solutions, and managing change.

Preferred Skills :

- Certification in SAP CPI or SAP BASIS.

- Experience with cloud integration patterns and security best practices (OAuth, certificates).

- Working knowledge of other SAP integration tools (e.g., SAP PO/PI, API Management).

- Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills for cross-system data flow issues.
