Job Description

We are seeking to establish a pool of skilled individuals to create, implement, and warrant a versatile set of SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) deliverables in accordance with the Agile software delivery methodology. The number of active participants is expected to vary depending on the deliverables specified during the Agile Sprint planning sessions. The objective of this engagement is to assemble a flexible pool of seasoned SAP professionals, particularly those experienced in SAP Convergent Mediation, to support solution architecture, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and Post Go-Live activities. This team will focus on the system, which is being developed using SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) and Microsoft CRM platforms.

The Contractor shall provide resources with the necessary expertise to collaborate closely with the delivery teams within an Agile/Scrum environment. Work will be organized into four-week Sprints, with deliverables to be agreed upon at the beginning of each Sprint. The objective is to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of each Sprint's goals, while enabling the client to utilize specialized CM expertise as required.

Tasks & Deliverables :

The client will identify a primary point-of-contact (POC) who will identify business and technical stakeholders to be consulted in relation to this statement of work. This engagement is for up to 24 Agile Methodology Sprint events, where tasks and deliverables supporting this statement of work shall be determined and approved during each individual Sprint.

Description of Duties :

- The resource pool will perform, but is not limited to, the following activities:

Solution Architecture & Design :


- Architect, design, configure, and implement Convergent Mediation components of SAP BRIM solution.

- Develop integration approaches with SAP and non-SAP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics CRM, payment gateways, tolling/transportation back office systems).

Requirements & Business Alignment :



- Conduct workshops to gather and validate requirements.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts to define features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Configuration, Development & Integration :

- Configure SAP CM scenarios to support high-volume, usage-based transaction processing, including but not limited to rating and billing.

- Build and maintain mediation flows, transformation rules, and integration points.

- Identify and implement performance and usability improvements.

Data Migration & Cutover :

- Collaborate with Data and Datasphere Teams to define mapping, transformation, and load strategies.

- Execute cutover activities with minimal downtime, including delta loads and validation.

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Develop unit and integration test cases; participate in SIT and UAT cycles.

- Perform unit tests for the work completed and attach evidence of successful unit testing in ADO per the QA guidelines.

- Support defect resolution and ensure quality delivery.

Performance Testing Support :

- The Contractor shall work collaboratively with clients team to support the performance objectives of the SAP Convergence Mediation system. This includes providing expertise, guidance, and resources, as needed to optimize system functionality, ensure operational stability, and address performance issues in a timely manner.

- The Contractor will actively engage with the clients technical and business teams to meet agreed-upon performance targets and service levels.

Documentation & Knowledge Transfer :

- Document configurations, integration mappings, and technical/functional designs.

- Support the training team to generate training materials and mentor the clients staff.

Post Go-Live Support :

- As part of this work order, the Contractor may be engaged in Post Go-Live Support of UBOS, which will be assigned a Sprint.

- Support items will be assigned a ServiceNow and/or MS ADO ticket.

- The Contractor will perform the following activities as part of Post Go-Live Support:

- Monitor ServiceNow assigned Incidents, Problems, Changes, Requests, RITMs, and Tasks for updates.

- Monitor Microsoft ADO for assigned Bugs or issues relating to the Sprint deliverables for updates.

- Perform triage and troubleshooting of any reported issues or concerns by working with stakeholders and resolve them to the stakeholder satisfaction.

- Perform data, configuration, and other system changes or activities to resolve these issues and concerns, by following the clients troubleshooting procedures and Software Development Lifecycle processes.

- Follow the clients Quality Assurance and Change Management procedures and standards to implement the desired changes.


- Update assigned ServiceNow and MS ADO tickets/records on a regular basis, as directed by the client.

- Perform or follow other requirements, as directed by the client in support of the work performed by the vendor.

Team Identification :

- The full team must be identified early within the engagement and be onboarded into the clients team.

- The Contractor shall provide prompt notification to the client whenever a team member is no longer engaged on this project.

- The client reserves the right to request resource replacements if performance issues are identified. See Process for Removing a Resource below.

- Any additional or replacement team members are to be onboarded at the appropriate time.

Please note that onboarding can take up to 3 weeks to complete.

Desired Skillset :

The proposed team shall consist of qualified individuals who meet some or all of the following skillset requirements. The client expects the overall team to meet or exceed the following requirements. The client may interview one or more of the proposed resources to determine, at the clients sole discretion, whether the proposed team members meet the needs of the project.

Core Requirements :

- 5+ years of hands-on SAP Convergent Mediation experience.

- 3+ years in SAP S/4HANA BRIM and CC environments hosted in Azure commercial cloud.

- At least 1 full hands-on delivery lifecycle of SAP BRIM implementations including CM, CI, CC, and FI-CA.

- Proven experience designing and implementing high-volume, usage-based mediation solutions with references.

- Strong understanding of SAP CM integration with non-SAP CRM systems, payment gateways, and real-time processing platforms.

- Expertise in database design, scripting, data enrichment, and high-volume migration.

- Proven expertise in event driven service oriented de centralized architecture delivery using Convergent Mediation.

- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodology and tools (Azure DevOps, JIRA).

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP BRIM/CM certifications (e.g., BR235, BR240, BR245, BR416).

- Experience in tolling, transit, or transportation industry.

- Knowledge of hybrid Agile delivery models.

- Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM practices and ServiceNow.

- Strong communication and documentation skills.
