About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP Controlling (CO) Lead to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in the SAP CO module, responsible for overseeing its functionality, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), and delivering robust solutions for complex CO-related issues.
This role requires a strong understanding of cross-module integration and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse global teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Module Ownership & Expertise : Take full ownership of the SAP CO module, serving as the primary point of contact for all CO-related matters.
- Team Development : Train and mentor team members on SAP CO functionalities, best practices, and issue resolution techniques.
- Service Delivery : Ensure strict compliance with SLAs and project timelines, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, timely solutions for CO issues.
- Core CO Management : Independently handle and provide expertise across various SAP CO sub-modules, including Product Costing (CO-PC) and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
- Global Collaboration : Effectively interact and communicate with stakeholders from different cultures and countries, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Problem Solving : Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within the SAP CO module, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Required Functional Skills & Experience :
- SAP FICO Expertise : In-depth functional knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP FICO, specifically strong proficiency in the CO module.
- Core CO Sub-modules : Extensive experience in :
- Product Costing (CO-PC) : Experience with cost estimates, material ledger, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold.
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) : Strong understanding of operating concerns, derivation rules, planning, and reporting.
- Overhead Cost Controlling (CO-OM-CCA) : Experience with cost center accounting, internal orders, and activity-based costing.
- Profit Center Accounting (CO-PCA) : Experience with profit center master data, allocations, and reporting.
- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Skills :
- ABAP Development & Enhancements : Hands-on experience with ABAP development, including debugging, custom reports, user exits, BADIs, and enhancements related to CO functionalities.
- Cross-Module Integration : Proven experience in configuring and troubleshooting integration points between SAP CO and other modules such as FI, MM, SD, PP, and PS.
- SAP S/4HANA : Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including Universal Journal, ACDOCA table, and new functionalities relevant to CO (e.g., Margin Analysis).
- Data Migration : Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques (e.g., LSMW, LTMC) for CO master data and transactional data.
- Reporting Tools : Experience with SAP reporting tools such as Report Painter/Writer, Fiori apps for analytics, and potentially exposure to BW/BI integration.
- Interface Technologies : Understanding of standard SAP interface technologies like IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs for integrating CO with external systems.
Education & Certifications :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferably ICWA (Institute of Cost Accountants of India) qualification.
- SAP certification in CO or FICO is a significant advantage
