Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly seasoned and expert SAP CO (Controlling) Architect with a minimum of 15+ years of extensive experience to join our team on a long-term contract basis.

This critical role demands deep architectural expertise in SAP CO, including its integration with S/4HANA, to drive strategic solution design and provide high-level leadership across major implementation programs. You must be available to join immediately or within a 15-day notice period.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution and Enterprise Architecture :

- Serve as the principal architect for SAP CO solutions, driving strategic design and setting the architectural roadmap for all Controlling functions within the enterprise landscape, particularly leveraging S/4HANA.

- Design and implement complex financial controlling solutions, ensuring seamless integration between SAP CO components (e.g., Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)) and other modules like SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and SAP MM/PP.

Strategic Leadership and Guidance :

- Provide expert guidance and functional leadership to project managers, development teams, and functional consultants across large-scale implementation and transformation programs.

- Lead high-level solution design workshops and obtain sign-off for architectural blueprints and key business processes related to Costing and Controlling.

Process Optimization and Governance :

- Evaluate and align business requirements with SAP best practices, proposing optimal solutions for processes such as overhead management, internal orders, material ledger, and profitability reporting.

- Establish technical and functional governance standards for the CO module, ensuring consistency, scalability, and performance across the organization.

Troubleshooting and Audit Support :

- Act as the final point of escalation for complex, high-priority issues related to SAP CO functionality, data integrity, and performance.

- Support financial audit processes by providing expert insight into system controls and data validation within the Controlling domain.

Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum of 15+ years of proven experience in SAP Consulting, with a majority focused on the SAP CO module in a lead or architect capacity.

- Core Expertise : Deep, authoritative expertise in all sub-modules of SAP CO, including Product Costing (CO-PC), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

- Technical Architecture : Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA and the related changes to Controlling, such as the Universal Journal and Material Ledger.

- Implementation Focus : Proven track record of successfully leading the architecture and deployment of multiple full-cycle, large-scale SAP implementations.

- Preferred Skills : Certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance/Controlling. Experience with industry-specific costing models.
