SAP Cloud Application Developer - BTP Module

Job Summary :

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud-native development principles, experience with various SAP cloud services, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance solutions. You will work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and other developers to translate business requirements into robust and efficient technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development :

- Utilize SAP BTP services including, but not limited to, SAP HANA Cloud, Cloud Foundry, Kyma, Integration Suite, and Workflow Management.

- Develop and maintain APIs and microservices for seamless integration between various systems, both SAP and non-SAP.

Architecture & Design :

technical designs.

- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable, following best practices and SAP's recommended development methodologies.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Integration :

- Utilize OData services, REST APIs, and other protocols for data exchange.

Frontend Development :

- Ensure a consistent user experience across different devices and platforms.

DevOps & CI/CD :

- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (Kyma).

- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.

- Document technical designs, development processes, and deployment procedures.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience : 5- 8 years of professional experience in application development, with at least focused on SAP cloud platforms.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language : Node.js, Java, or Python.

- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development.

- Knowledge of SAP HANA Cloud and SQL scripting.

- Experience with building RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Familiarity with cloud-native development concepts, including containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.

- Understanding of integration protocols and tools (e.g., OData, REST, SOAP, SAP Cloud Integration).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other SAP technologies such as ABAP, S/4HANA, or SAP SuccessFactors.

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

- Familiarity with serverless computing paradigms.
