Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Central Finance (CFIN) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, SLT-based data replication, and ECC integration. The role involves working on complex Central Finance implementations, upgrades, and AMS support, ensuring seamless financial data integration across multiple source systems into a centralized S/4HANA landscape.

The ideal candidate should have deep functional and technical knowledge of SAP Finance (FICO), along with hands-on experience in troubleshooting replication issues, financial data harmonization, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities :

1. CFIN Implementation & Support :

- Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP Central Finance implementations

- Configure and support key CFIN components including :

a. Initial load (historical data migration)

b. Real-time replication setup

c. Document mapping and harmonization

- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather finance requirements and translate them into SAP solutions

- Support post-go-live stabilization and ongoing AMS activities

2. SLT Configuration & Replication Management :

- Set up and manage SAP SLT (Landscape Transformation Replication Server) for real-time data replication

- Configure :

a. RFC connections

b. Database triggers

c. Logging tables

- Monitor and troubleshoot replication issues such as :

a. Data inconsistencies

b. Performance bottlenecks

c. Failed document transfers

- Ensure high availability and performance of replication landscape

3. ECC to CFIN Integration :

- Design and manage integration between ECC source systems and S/4HANA CFIN system

- Handle :

a. Mapping of company codes, cost centers, GL accounts

b. Data harmonization across multiple source systems

- Work with middleware and integration tools where applicable

- Ensure reconciliation between source and target systems

4. Financial Data Migration & Reconciliation :

- Execute initial load activities using SLT, LTMC, or other migration tools

- Perform data validation and reconciliation using :

- FI document comparison

- Balance validation reports

- Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data during migration

- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies

5. Upgrades & System Enhancements :

- Support S/4HANA upgrades (FPS/SP) and CFIN-specific upgrades

- Perform regression testing and impact analysis during upgrades

- Enhance system performance and optimize existing configurations

- Implement SAP Notes and patches as required

6. AIF Monitoring & Error Handling :

- Use Application Interface Framework (AIF) for :

a. Monitoring interface errors

b. Reprocessing failed transactions

- Analyze root causes of replication failures

- Provide permanent fixes for recurring issues

7. AMS & Production Support :

- Provide Level 2 / Level 3 support for finance-related issues

- Handle incident, problem, and change management processes

- Work in offshore/onshore AMS delivery models

- Ensure SLA adherence and timely issue resolution

8. Stakeholder Communication :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, CO, MM, SD, BASIS, ABAP)

- Communicate effectively with business users and leadership

- Prepare documentation including :

a. Functional specifications

b. Technical design documents

c. User guides

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- 5 to 12 years of SAP Finance experience with strong domain knowledge

- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Central Finance (CFIN)

- Proven experience in at least one end-to-end CFIN implementation/support project

- Strong hands-on experience in :

a. SAP S/4HANA Central Finance

b. SAP SLT Replication Server

c. ECC to CFIN data replication architecture

d. Experience in supporting CFIN or S/4HANA upgrades (FPS/SP stacks)

e. Exposure to offshore AMS and upgrade factory delivery models

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or related field
