About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP Customer Data Cloud (CDC) Consultant with hands-on experience in implementing, integrating, and optimizing customer identity and access management (CIAM) solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of SAP CDC (formerly Gigya), data privacy principles, and user experience optimization to drive secure and personalized customer journeys.
As an SAP CDC Consultant, you will collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding architects, developers, and business stakeholdersto design scalable and compliant customer data management solutions that align with enterprise digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Customer Data Cloud (Gigya) solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs.
- Configure key CDC modules such as Registration-as-a-Service (RaaS), Identity Access Management (IAM),
Consent Management, and Progressive Profiling.
- Implement CIAM best practices for customer identity lifecycle management, single sign-on (SSO), and social login integrations.
- Customize user interfaces and workflows using Screen-Sets, Web SDKs, and REST APIs.
- Integrate SAP CDC with SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Marketing Cloud, SAP Emarsys, and other enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with middleware and backend teams for API and data synchronization.
- Ensure secure data flow and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Develop data models, API mappings, and extensions as required.
- Implement and maintain security configurations for data protection and user authentication.
- Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations by leveraging Consent & Preference Management capabilities.
- Monitor and manage customer identity security, token management, and access control policies.
- Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing to validate CDC configurations and integrations.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, configuration guides, and solution design documents.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for CDC modules and integrations.
Work closely with SAP and internal teams to resolve technical challenges or enhancement requests.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand evolving identity management and personalization requirements.
- Stay updated on SAP CDC product updates and roadmap to recommend enhancements.
- Participate in cross-functional workshops, demos, and training sessions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of CIAM strategies and customer experience initiatives.
Required Skills & Expertise :
- Proven experience in SAP Customer Data Cloud (Gigya) implementation and support.
- Strong understanding of CIAM (Customer Identity & Access Management) concepts.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect, and JWT authentication protocols.
- Experience integrating SAP CDC with SAP CX suite applications (e.g., Commerce, Marketing, Sales Cloud).
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and consent management principles.
- Experience using SAP Cloud Platform, SAP BTP, or middleware tools for integrations is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
