SAP BW/HANA Consultant - E2E Implementation

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled and experienced BW Consultant with strong expertise in S/4HANA-based data models, embedded analytics, and data extraction techniques. The ideal candidate should be proficient in impact assessment, ABAP routine development, and data remediation strategies, with a deep understanding of performance optimization and downstream system dependencies.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain BW data models and embedded analytics for S/4HANA.

- Perform data extraction from standard and custom datasources in S/4HANA and ECC.

- Map datasources to ECC tables for BW impact assessments.

- Analyze ABAP code to identify hardcoding, lookup logic, and other impact areas.

- Develop ABAP routines in BW for data remediation when reloading is not feasible.

- Execute data remediation activities, including self-loop corrections and data reloads.

- Evaluate and mitigate downstream impacts through Open Hub, APDs, FTP, etc.

- Work closely with business and downstream stakeholders to communicate impact,
remediation, and associated risks.

- Prepare clear documentation across all project phases: Impact Assessment, Remediation,
Build, Testing, UAT, and Cutover.

Mandatory Skills :

- Experience with BW data models and embedded analytics in S/4HANA.

- Expertise in BW data extraction from standard and custom datasources.

- Ability to perform BW impact assessments by mapping datasources with ECC tables.

- Experience in BW data remediation (data reloads, self-loops, corrections).

- Understanding of downstream data flow through Open Hub, APDs, FTP, etc.

- ABAP code analysis for logic/impact detection.

- Strong hands-on experience in writing ABAP routines in BW.

- Familiarity with S/4HANA CDS views and Eclipse-based development.
