SAP BTP Lead/Architect

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Guide and mentor a team of BTP developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

- Design and implement applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAP UI5/Fiori, and SAP HANA Cloud.

- Collaborate with SAP functional leads, solution architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.

- Integrate BTP applications with S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Integration Suite, and other enterprise systems using APIs, OData, and Events.

- Ensure compliance with SAP BTP security best practices (authentication, authorization, XSUAA, OAuth, etc.).

- Monitor application performance and implement optimizations.

- Stay current with SAP BTP roadmap and emerging technologies; assess and recommend their adoption.

Qualifications :

- 6+ years of SAP development experience, with at least 23 years in SAP BTP environment.

- Hands-on experience with :

1. SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)

2. SAP UI5/Fiori and SAP Business Application Studio

3. SAP HANA Cloud and CDS modeling

4. SAP Identity Authentication and Authorization (IAS/XSUAA)

5. Node.js/Java for BTP services

- Knowledge of SAP BTP services, including Mobile Services, Workflow, Business Rules, and Destination Services.

- Strong understanding of REST/OData APIs, OAuth2.0, JWT, and integration patterns.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and DevOps methodologies.

- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with SAP Event Mesh, SAP Build Apps (Low-Code/No-Code), or SAP Launchpad Service

- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)

- Exposure to non-SAP integrations (Salesforce, Workday, etc.)

- Experience with legacy-to-cloud transformations
