Role Summary :

We are seeking a visionary SAP BTP Lead to spearhead our digital transformation initiatives and drive innovation using the SAP Business Technology Platform.

This role requires a technical powerhouse who can bridge the gap between traditional SAP environments and modern cloud-native architectures.

You will lead the design and execution of side-by-side extensions, AI-driven automation, and advanced application development.

The ideal candidate will have a deep mastery of the SAP "Clean Core" strategy, leveraging both Low-Code/No-Code tools and high-pro programming environments like Python and CAP to build future-ready enterprise solutions.

Technical Responsibilities :

- Platform Architecture and Orchestration : Lead the design and implementation of cross-functional SAP BTP services, ensuring optimal use of platform capabilities for integration, data management, and application development.

- Intelligent Process Automation : Architect end-to-end automation workflows using SAP Build Process Automation, including the setup of SAP Build Code, Identity Authentication (IAS), and Alert Notification services to streamline business operations.

- Clean Core Extensibility : Drive the "Clean Core" strategy by designing and developing Side-by-Side extensions for SAP LoB solutions, utilizing low-code/no-code tools to minimize technical debt in S/4HANA environments.

- AI and Generative AI Integration : Implement sophisticated AI solutions using SAP Core AI and SAP AI Launchpad, integrating Python-based Large Language Models (LLMs) with frameworks like Langchain and Langgraph for agentic workflows.

- Full-Stack Application Development : Lead hands-on development across multiple languages including Python (mandatory), Java, JavaScript/UI5, Node.js, or ABAP to build high-performance cloud applications.

- Framework Mastery : Develop and maintain scalable enterprise services using the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) for cloud-native development or the Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) for S/4HANA-centric solutions.

- S/4HANA Innovation and Showcasing : Proactively explore and implement S/4HANA innovations, including Overview Pages (OVP) and cloud integration features, to build compelling demos and technical showcases for internal and external stakeholders.

- Security and Efficiency Services : Configure and manage Development Efficiency services and Identity Management to ensure robust security and high-velocity development cycles within the BTP cockpit.

- Quality Assurance and Documentation : Maintain a diligent working style in software testing, ensuring all cloud extensions and services are fully documented and meet enterprise-grade reliability standards.

- Technical Presentation and Advocacy : Act as a technical evangelist, presenting complex architectural showcases and innovative BTP use cases to both technical teams and business leadership.

- Tools & Services : SAP Build Code, Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Alert Notification, SAP Event Mesh.

- DevOps : SAP Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD), Git, SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).

Preferred Skills :

- SAP Certifications : Possession of SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP BTP or similar cloud certifications.

- Advanced AI Knowledge : Experience in prompt engineering, fine-tuning LLMs, and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) within SAP ecosystems.

- Cloud Integration : Deep knowledge of SAP Integration Suite (CPI) and API Management for connecting heterogeneous systems.

- Data Privacy : Familiarity with SAP Data Privacy Integration and global compliance standards for cloud-based data processing.

- Mentorship : Proven ability to lead a team of developers, conduct high-standard code reviews, and define technical roadmaps for junior members.

- Hyperscaler Integration : Experience in integrating SAP BTP services with AWS, Azure, or GCP-native services.
