SAP BTP Integration Architect - E2E Implementation

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Integration Architect with 13+ years of expertise in SAP integration, enterprise architecture, and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will define integration strategies, lead technical implementations, and drive adoption of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions across hybrid landscapes.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Integration Strategy & Architecture :

- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance integration architectures using SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).

- Ensure seamless integration of SAP and non-SAP applications across on-premise and cloud environments.

2. Implementation & Development :

- Lead the development of integration flows using SAP Integration Suite.

- Design and deploy APIs leveraging SAP API Management.

- Implement event-driven architectures using SAP Advanced Event Mesh.

- Manage real-time and batch integrations using SAP BTP tools.

- Apply Clean Core Design principles for modern SAP landscapes.

- Facilitate migration from PI/PO to Integration Suite and modernize legacy integration platforms (e.g., Informatica, custom connectors).

3. Technical Leadership & Governance :

- Establish integration best practices, security policies, and governance frameworks.

- Provide technical leadership to development teams ensuring adherence to SAP BTP standards.

- Troubleshoot complex integration issues and optimize system performance.

4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Work with SAP product teams to adopt the latest innovations in SAP BTP.

- Guide cross-functional teams on cloud-native development, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.

5. Project Management & Delivery :

- Oversee end-to-end integration project lifecycles from requirements gathering to deployment.

- Ensure on-time delivery and successful go-live of SAP integration solutions.

- Manage vendors and consultants for SAP BTP integration projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 13+ years of experience in SAP integration, middleware, and enterprise architecture.

- Strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including SAP Integration Suite/CPI.

- Proficiency in BTP platform services, API Management, Event Mesh, security, and OAuth-based integrations.

- Hands-on experience with OData, REST, SOAP, and API development.

- Knowledge of SAP Clean Core Design principles.

- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and other SaaS integrations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP AI Core, SAP Business Data Cloud.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud integration with SAP.

- Familiarity with modern iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solutions.

- Understanding of event-driven architectures, SAP PI/PO, and SAP Gateway.
