Role Overview :

The SAP BTP Developer is a dedicated technical role requiring 3+ Years of hands-on experience, focused on designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Mandatory skills include a Strong developer background in Java, SAP Portal, and SAP Fiori, alongside practical expertise in the SAP Build portfolio.

This role is located in Pune / Hyderabad / Bangalore and is critical for delivering scalable, custom solutions and integrations across enterprise use cases.

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Developer (3+ years) with mandatory strong development expertise in Java, SAP Portal, and SAP Fiori.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with SAP Build Work Zone and SAP Build Process Automation.

Key responsibilities include developing and managing applications using core SAP BTP components (including IFS and UI&I), implementing integrations with other SAP systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and troubleshooting solutions across the BTP environment to deliver scalable, custom business solutions.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Deliverables :

SAP BTP and Development :

- Demonstrate a Strong developer background in Java for building custom services, backend logic, and developing extensions within the SAP BTP environment.

- Develop, configure, and manage applications using SAP BTP, ensuring adherence to performance, security, and architectural best practices.

- Utilize Hands-on experience in SAP BTP components including IFS (Integration Fact Sheet) and UI&I (User Interface and Integration) services for managing system connectivity and presentation layers.

- Implement and support integrations within various SAP BTP services and other SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC) using standard protocols and BTP Integration Suite services.

SAP Build Portfolio and UX :

- Apply expertise in SAP Fiori development principles (Fiori Elements, Fiori Launchpad configuration) to create modern, responsive user interfaces.

- Utilize mandatory Hands-on experience in SAP Build Work Zone for developing and managing centralized, personalized digital workplace solutions.

- Implement automation and orchestration workflows using mandatory SAP Build Process Automation, leveraging no-code/low-code capabilities and RPA functionality.

- Leverage expertise in SAP Portal technology for migrating or integrating legacy portal content into modern BTP experiences.

Troubleshooting and Collaboration :

- Troubleshoot and optimize applications across SAP BTP environments (e.g., Cloud Foundry, Kyma runtime), addressing performance bottlenecks and technical errors.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional consultants, enterprise architects) to understand business needs and deliver scalable BTP-based solutions that align with the enterprise architecture strategy.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 3+ Years of relevant experience.

- Core Languages : Strong developer background in Java.

- SAP UX: SAP Portal and SAP Fiori.

- BTP/Build : Hands-on experience in SAP Build Work Zone and SAP Build Process Automation.

- BTP Components : Hands-on experience with SAP BTP components including IFS and UI&I.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with BTP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management).

- Familiarity with microservices development in BTP (Cloud Foundry or Kyma runtime).

- Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts within BTP and integrated systems.
