SAP BTP Developer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop applications and services using SAP BTP capabilities (Cloud Foundry / Kyma runtime).

- Implement applications using SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAPM) with Node.js or Java.

- Develop and extend SAP Fiori/UI5 apps and integrate them with backend services.

- Create and manage BTP destinations, roles, and authorizations.

- Work with SAP HANA Cloud for data modeling using CDS, SQL, and calculation views.

- Integrate BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP CPI, and other systems via OData/REST APIs, Events, and Message Queues.

- Manage full-stack development using MTA (Multi-Target Application) deployment.

- Implement authentication and authorization using XSUAA, IAS, and Principal Propagation.

- Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup, testing, and DevOps processes.

- Monitor applications using SAP BTP Cockpit, AppRouter, and Logging Services.

Required Skills :

- Development experience on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry).

- Proficient in SAP CAPM, Node.js, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience with SAP UI5/Fiori, CDS, OData V2/V4.

- Experience working with SAP HANA Cloud, PostgreSQL (optional).

- Good understanding of SAP BTP services : Destination, XSUAA, AppRouter, Audit Logging, Connectivity.

- Proficient in using SAP BAS, SAP Web IDE, Git.

- Strong understanding of MTA projects and deployment lifecycle.

- Experience in building secure, scalable cloud-native apps using Microservices architecture.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of SAP Event Mesh, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Process Automation.

- Experience with Kyma/Kubernetes runtime on SAP BTP.

- Familiarity with clean core and side-by-side extensibility concepts.

- SAP Certifications in BTP Development or related modules is a plus.
