Job Title : SAP BTP Architect

Location : Bangalore (Work From Office)

Employment Type : Full-Time (KPMG)

Experience : 5 to 8 Years

About the Role :

The SAP BTP Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable enterprise integration solutions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).


The role involves defining architecture, leading integration projects, ensuring security compliance, and enabling seamless connectivity across SAP and non-SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs) :
- Design and implement enterprise-level integration architectures using SAP BTP Integration Suite.

- Lead end-to-end integration projects across SAP and non-SAP applications (e.g., S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, Salesforce).

- Develop and manage integration flows using SAP CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors.

- Define integration strategies and frameworks aligning with business and IT objectives.

- Ensure adherence to best practices for design, performance, and security in cloud-based integration.

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to translate business requirements into integration designs.

- Evaluate and implement event-driven architectures and microservices for system scalability.

- Establish governance standards for API lifecycle management and integration documentation.

- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide root-cause analysis with permanent resolutions.

- Stay updated on the latest SAP BTP features, tools, and integration innovations to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skillsets :

- Strong expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite components SAP CPI, API Management, Event Mesh, Integration Advisor, Open Connectors.

- Deep understanding of integration patterns synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, and microservices-based architectures.

- Proficiency in REST, SOAP, OData, JSON, XML, and messaging protocols.

- Experience in designing cloud-native and hybrid integration architectures.

- Strong grasp of authentication and authorization standards (OAuth, SAML, JWT, TLS).

- Experience with enterprise systems integration across SAP and third-party applications.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and cloud platforms (SAP Cloud, Azure, AWS preferred).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and lead technical discussions.
