SAP BRIM/Convergent Mediation Consultant

Role : SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation Consultant

We are seeking an experienced SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with BRIM Convergent Mediation implementations, a solid understanding of the end-to-end BRIM process, and the ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Participate in BRIM architecture and design sessions, offering insights into data flows, mediation zone capabilities, and optimization for high-volume environments.

- Design, develop, and support mediation workflows that handle data ingestion, transformation, and loading into SAP Convergent Charging (CC) or SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI).

- Implement and optimize usage aggregation policies and support reverse engineering of usage data for downstream systems (e.g., accounting, revenue allocation).

- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements, perform impact analysis, and provide solutions.

- Ensure performance tuning of mediation workflows and support complex data processing pipelines involving batch and real-time data.

- Engage in client-facing roles for workshops, UAT support, and go-live activities.

Technical Skills :

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience with SAP ABAP and Webservice development

- Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and database tuning

- Expertise in Unix/Linux, Windows OS, JVM tuning, and Application/Web servers

Desired Skills :

- Front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript

- Working knowledge of security programming concepts

- Hands-on experience in telecom or utility domain using CM

- Experience with Convergent Mediation functions:

- Data Acquisition (Batch & Real-time)

- Data Validation, Enrichment & Analysis

- Filtering, Error & Duplicate Checks

- Merging/Splitting and Correlation

- Routing and Format Conversion

Soft Skills :

- Experience in client-facing roles

- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset

- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
