Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive SAP BRIM - Convergent Invoicing (CI) Consultant with 7+ years of professional experience. The ideal candidate will be an expert in implementing and configuring the SAP BRIM suite, with a deep specialization in Convergent Invoicing.

This is a long-term contract role for a professional who can own the end-to-end billing cycle, from managing billable items to integrating with financial systems. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing solutions that automate high-volume invoice generation, ensure compliance, and enhance the overall customer billing experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, configure, and manage the Billable Items Management process, which includes ingesting and transforming usage data and charges from sources such as SAP Convergent Charging (CC) and other external systems into standardized billable items for invoicing.

- Lead the configuration of SAP CI components, establish complex invoicing rules, and integrate with SAP FI-CA to generate a single, unified invoice from multiple billing sources, ensuring clarity and transparency for the customer.

- Implement the transfer of finalized invoices to SAP FI-CA for seamless receivables, collections, and payments management, and support accounting aggregation before posting to the General Ledger.

- Architect and implement solutions for mass transaction processing and automation to handle high-volume invoice generation, reversals, and corrections efficiently and with minimal manual intervention.

- Ensure all invoicing processes and reporting capabilities adhere to legal, regulatory, and audit standards, and that they seamlessly integrate with revenue recognition processes like IFRS15.

- Enhance the customer experience by delivering consolidated invoices for multiple services, supporting flexible payment options, and improving overall billing transparency.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 7+ years of hands-on, professional experience as an SAP BRIM consultant with a core focus on Convergent Invoicing (CI).

- Proven expertise in Billable Items Management and its configuration within the SAP ecosystem.

- A deep understanding of the integration between SAP CI and SAP FI-CA (Financial Contract Accounting).

- Experience in configuring invoicing rules and managing billable item adjustments and reversals.

- Strong knowledge of SAP FI-CA functionalities related to receivables, collections, and payments.

- The ability to automate high-volume processes and manage mass transactions within a billing system.

Preferred Skills :

- Hands-on experience with other SAP BRIM components, such as SAP Convergent Charging (CC) and SAP Convergent Mediation (CM).

- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its latest features in the billing and finance space.

- Experience in industries with complex billing models, such as telecommunications, utilities, or media.

- Familiarity with billing-related compliance standards and audit procedures.
