SAP BRIM/CM Consultant

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP BRIM - Convergent Mediation (CM) Consultant with 8+ years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP BRIM solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Convergent Mediation (DigitalRoute DRM / SAP CM), Charging, Billing, and Subscription Management, along with solid understanding of end-to-end order-to-cash processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) within the SAP BRIM ecosystem.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective mediation rules, data mappings, and processing logic.

- Develop and maintain mediation workflows, rating logic, and usage data transformation processes.

- Integrate CM with SAP Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), Subscription Billing, and external source systems.

- Troubleshoot and optimize high-volume usage data processing, performance tuning, and error handling mechanisms.

- Support end-to-end testing, UAT, SIT, regression testing, and cutover activities.

- Work closely with billing, finance, architecture, and technical teams to ensure seamless O2C flow.

- Provide production support, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and continuous improvements.

- Prepare functional and technical documentation including design specs, test scripts, and solution guides.

- Ensure compliance with standards, governance, and best practices for SAP BRIM deployments.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8+ years of total experience, with 5+ years specifically in SAP BRIM - Convergent Mediation (CM).

- Strong hands-on experience with :

1. SAP CM / DigitalRoute DRM (Mediation Zone)

2. Data collection, normalization, enrichment, aggregation, and distribution

3. Event processing, workflow configuration, and pipeline design

- High-volume usage data handling

- Good understanding of SAP BRIM components :

1. Convergent Charging (CC)

2. Convergent Invoicing (CI/FICA)

3. Subscription Billing

4. SOM (Sales Order Management) / SD

- Knowledge of mediation integrations with network elements, OSS/BSS systems, CRM, ERP, and partner systems.

- Experience in SOAP/REST APIs, XML/JSON, file-based mediation, and adapters.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and performance optimization skills.

- Good understanding of telecom billing, subscription billing, rating, and charging processes.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Cloud-based BRIM deployments (SAP BRIM in S/4HANA).

- Knowledge of FICA processes, invoicing, dunning, and collections.

- Exposure to CI/CC integration and BRIM flow end-to-end.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.

- SAP BRIM certification (added advantage).
