Job Summary :

We are seeking a technically strong SAP BODS SLT Consultant with hands-on experience in data integration, ETL development, and real-time replication using SAP SLT. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of data modeling, transformation, and migration across SAP and non-SAP systems. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust ETL pipelines and managing SLT replication from SAP ECC/S/4HANA to various targets.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services).

- Configure and manage SAP SLT (System Landscape Transformation) for real-time replication from SAP ECC/S/4HANA systems.

- Ensure accurate and timely data extraction, transformation, and loading to meet business and technical requirements.

- Collaborate with functional teams, data architects, and business analysts to define data integration strategies.

- Optimize and tune BODS jobs for high performance, error handling, and scalability.

- Monitor and maintain SLT replication statuses; troubleshoot latency, performance, or connectivity issues proactively.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all integrated systems.

- Support data migration and integration efforts across SAP and non-SAP landscapes, including legacy systems.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including data flow diagrams, mappings, and operational guides.

- Participate in unit testing, system integration testing, and support deployment activities.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3 to 6 years of proven hands-on experience with SAP BODS (design, development, deployment).

- 2+ years of working experience with SAP SLT configuration and real-time data replication.

- Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling techniques.

- Experience working with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and/or SAP HANA platforms.

- Proficiency in performance tuning, error handling, and BODS job optimization techniques.

- Good understanding of database technologies such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, or HANA.

- Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, data mappings, and transformation rules.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with SAP BW, SAP Data Intelligence, or other SAP integration tools is a plus.

- Understanding of SAP application tables, IDocs, and change data capture (CDC) mechanisms.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for data integration is advantageous.
