Role Description :

Responsibilities :

- Analyze complex business processes to understand data requirements and translate them into effective BODS solutions.

- Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using SAP BODS, ensuring data quality and consistency.

- Engage in programming and software development activities related to BODS jobs, scripts, and workflows.

- Integrate various SAP products and other source systems with target systems using BODS.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, functional consultants, and other developers, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of data solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and performance bottlenecks within BODS jobs.

- Participate in data migration activities, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of data between systems.

- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for BODS jobs, data flows, and technical specifications.

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate data solutions.

Qualifications :

- Proven expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), including designing, developing, and optimizing complex ETL jobs.

- Extensive experience with data migration projects using SAP BODS, including understanding of data

profiling, cleansing, and validation techniques.

- Strong understanding of SAP ECC/S/4HANA data structures and integration points.

- Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and performance tuning.

- Experience with various source and target systems (e.g., databases, flat files, SAP applications).

- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
