SAP Basis L3 Consultant

Description :

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP Basis L3 Consultant to lead complex SAP landscape operations, upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization across ECC and S/4HANA environments. The role requires deep technical expertise, leadership in critical incidents, and close collaboration with functional and infrastructure teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as L3 escalation point for SAP Basis issues (Production & Non-Production)

- Design, manage, and optimize SAP ECC & S/4HANA landscapes

- Perform system installations, upgrades, Unicode conversion, OS/DB migrations

- Lead S/4HANA conversion and system refresh activities

- Handle SAP Kernel upgrades, SP/EHP upgrades

- Perform client copies, system refreshes, transports, TMS administration

- Monitor and tune SAP system performance

- Manage SAP Security coordination (roles, authorizations coordination level)

- Administer HANA DB (backup, recovery, monitoring, performance)

- Work on High Availability (HA), DR, and backup strategies

- Coordinate with SAP, OS, DB, network, and cloud teams

- Prepare technical documentation and SOPs

- Mentor L1/L2 Basis team members

Technical Skills Required :

- SAP Basis (ECC 6.0 & S/4HANA)

- SAP HANA Administration

- OS : Linux / Unix / Windows

- Databases : SAP HANA (mandatory), Oracle/DB2 (good to have)

- SAP Solution Manager

- SAP Web Dispatcher, Fiori, Gateway

- Cloud exposure : AWS / Azure / GCP (preferred)

- Strong knowledge of HA/DR setups
