We are searching for an experienced and highly skilled SAP Basis/HANA Administrator to manage and maintain our mission-critical SAP system landscape. This role involves ensuring the stability, performance, and security of all SAP environments, with a key focus on SAP HANA database administration. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in system upgrades, performance tuning, and the adoption of cloud-based deployment strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

System Administration & Maintenance :

- Perform SAP Basis Administration tasks including system installations, client copies, system refreshes, transport management (STMS), and spool/printer management across SAP NetWeaver landscapes (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Solution Manager).

- Execute core SAP HANA Administration duties such as monitoring, backup/recovery, performance tuning, and user/security management for the SAP HANA database.

Architecture & Integration :

- Apply a strong understanding of system architecture (high availability, disaster recovery) and application integration principles to ensure seamless data flow and component connectivity.

- Manage and configure interfaces between SAP systems and third-party applications.

Performance Management :

- Conduct database management and performance tuning activities for both the SAP application layer and the underlying SAP HANA database to optimize system response times.

- Proactively monitor system health, resource utilization, and address potential bottlenecks.

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Utilize a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently across the SAP application stack, operating system, and database layer.

- Participate in on-call rotation and provide advanced technical support.

Cloud & Technology Adoption :

- Maintain familiarity with cloud technologies and deployment strategies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for SAP systems, including migration, operation, and scaling of SAP on Cloud.

- Implement and maintain security standards and patches across the SAP landscape.

Required Experience and Skills (Must-Haves) :

Experience : 5 to 12 Years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis and/or HANA Administration.

Core Proficiency : Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration (NetWeaver, S/4HANA) and/or SAP HANA Administration (HANA 1.0 and 2.0).

Technical Understanding : Strong understanding of system architecture and application integration (e.g., system landscape design, connectivity setup, SSO).

Performance Skills : Proven experience with database management and performance tuning techniques for SAP environments (specifically for SAP HANA).

Cloud Awareness : Familiarity with cloud technologies and deployment strategies for running SAP workloads on public cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS).

Troubleshooting : Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently across complex multi-tier SAP systems.

Desirable Skills (Nice-to-Haves) :

- Experience with automated patching, upgrades (e.g., SUM tool), and system landscape management tools (e.g., SAP Solution Manager).

- Knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows) administration.

- Experience with SAP Fiori/Gateway configuration and administration.

- Certification in SAP HANA or a major Cloud Platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
