About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with a strong background in Heterogeneous System Migrations.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience managing complex SAP landscapes, performing system upgrades, migrations, and supporting large-scale SAP environments on cloud and on-premises platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform Heterogeneous Migrations (OS/DB migrations) using SAP tools such as SWPM, SUM, and DMO.

- Manage and support SAP system installations, upgrades, refreshes, and performance tuning.

- Handle SAP landscape administration across environments - Development, QA, Production.

- Support SAP HANA, S/4HANA, ECC, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and other SAP components.

- Implement and manage transport management systems (TMS).

- Coordinate with application, infrastructure, and database teams for system performance and issue resolution.

- Apply SAP Notes, patches, kernel upgrades, and manage SPAM/SAINT updates.

- Ensure high system availability, backup/recovery planning, and DR setup.

- Prepare technical documentation and provide migration support to project teams.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Minimum 10 years of SAP BASIS administration experience.

- Mandatory : Proven expertise in Heterogeneous Migration (OS/DB Migration) using SWPM & SUM tools.

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments.

- Deep understanding of UNIX/Linux/Windows and database platforms (Oracle, DB2, HANA, SQL Server).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for SAP deployments.

- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

- SAP BASIS certification or SAP OS/DB Migration certification preferred.

Nice to Have :

- Experience in Cloud Migration Projects.

- Exposure to SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM, Monitoring).

- Knowledge of SAP Security and GRC basics.
