SAP Basis Consultant - SAP ECC & S/4 HANA Configuration

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform SAP system upgrades (ECC to ECC, ECC to S/4HANA, Support Pack, Kernel upgrades).

- Plan and execute SAP system migrations (OS/DB migration, Unicode conversion, Cloud/on-prem migrations).

- Install, configure, and administer SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, Solution Manager).

- Manage SAP transport management system (TMS), client administration, and system refreshes.

- Monitor SAP systems for performance, availability, and capacity planning.

- Handle SAP HANA administration, including backups, recovery, and performance tuning.

- Perform system copies, client copies, and post-migration validation activities.

- Troubleshoot BASIS-related issues and coordinate with functional/technical teams.

- Ensure system security, user administration, and role management in coordination with security teams.

- Provide 24/7 production support as part of a rotational shift schedule.

- Maintain system documentation and follow ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.

- Support audits and compliance requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS Administration.

- Strong experience in SAP Upgradation and Migration projects.

- Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP HANA DB.

- Good knowledge of OS (Linux/Unix/Windows) and databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server).

- Hands-on experience with SAP tools like SPAM, SUM, SWPM, and Maintenance Planner.

- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager is preferred.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an added advantage.

- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
