SAP Basis Consultant - S/4 HANA Module

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

System Administration :

- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, etc.)

- Configure and manage SAP system parameters and profiles

- Perform system upgrades, patches, and hotfixes

- Monitor system health and performance, and take corrective actions

- Address the SAP Security Notes and Vulnerabilities.

Performance Tuning :

- Analyse system performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies

- Tune database parameters, indexes, and query performance

- Monitor and optimize background job scheduling and execution

Troubleshooting :

- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP systems

- Analyse system logs and trace files to identify root causes of problems

- Work closely with functional teams to understand business requirements and provide

technical solutions

Backup and Recovery :

- Implement and maintain effective backup and recovery strategies

- Perform regular system backups and restores

- Test recovery procedures to ensure business continuity

Project Implementation :

- Participate in SAP implementation projects, including system sizing, configuration, and cutover activities

- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams

Documentation :

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

- OS : Windows, Linux, Unix, AIX

- Databases : Sybase ASE, HANA, MSSQL, MAXDB

Required Skills and Experience ( F4 )

As an experienced SAP Basis Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our SAP landscape. You will be responsible for a wide range of technical tasks, including system administration, performance tuning, security, and troubleshooting.

- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration

- Strong technical knowledge of SAP systems, including ECC, GRC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and HANA database.

- SAP NetWeaver Gateway, SAP NW JAVA, SAP SLT, BOBJ, BODS, SAP Web-dispatcher, Load-Balancer for SAP applications.

- Experience in system installations, upgrades, and migrations

- Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization techniques

- In-depth understanding of SAP Products concepts and best practices

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform).

- Should be willing to work in Shifts ( 24/7 )

- Work on SAP-RISE migration, conversion & Upgrade activities on hyperscalers.

- SAP Patching, upgrades, installations, addons, Vulnerabilities, SAP Note implementations.

- Should have fair knowledge on the Hyperscalers & SAP cloud terminologies.

- SAP PI/PO, SAP cloud connector and SAP CPI.

- SAP Solution manager 7.2 : Managed system configurations, EWA, CHARM, ITSM, CBTA and CSOL.

- SAP HANA backups, SAP HANA administration & Performance Optimization.

- SAP SSO/SAML setup, configuration & troubleshooting knowledge.

- SAP Transport Management, Client administration, Batch job, Print Spool administrations.
