SAP Basis Consultant - S/4 HANA Module

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in Bangalore or Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing and supporting SAP environments across various platforms. You should be adept at handling installations, upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage the administration of SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, Solution Manager, and others.

- Perform system installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations.

- Ensure system performance, reliability, and security across SAP landscapes.

- Manage transport management system (TMS), client copies, system refreshes, and user administration.

- Perform backup and recovery operations using standard tools.

- Monitor system logs, traces, and overall system health using Solution Manager and other tools.

- Work closely with SAP functional, ABAP, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations.

- Troubleshoot issues related to performance, connectivity, job scheduling, etc.

- Document technical specifications, procedures, and SOPs for SAP Basis operations.

Requirements :

- 610 years of hands-on experience as an SAP Basis Consultant.

- Experience with S/4HANA implementations or migrations is highly preferred.

- Proficient in OS/DB administration, including Unix/Linux and HANA/Oracle/DB2.

- Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and components.

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) configuration and monitoring tools.

- Good understanding of High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and backup strategies.

- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have :

- SAP Certifications in Basis or HANA Administration

- Experience with SAP Cloud platforms (e.g., SAP BTP, Azure, AWS)

- Knowledge of security roles and authorizations.
