We Are Hiring: SAP BASIS Consultant

About the Role :

We're looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant to join our team in Chennai.

This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work from our Chennai office two days a week.

You'll be instrumental in supporting and enhancing our global SAP landscape, bringing your deep technical expertise in SAP BASIS, HANA, DB2, and Oracle administration to the forefront.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and execute installations, upgrades, and support activities for global SAP systems.

- Provide expert administration and troubleshooting for HANA, DB2, and Oracle databases.

- Manage and maintain various SAP products, including but not limited to ECC, BW, APO, Live Cache, CRM, PI/PO, Portal, BOBJ, BODS, Fiori, Content Server, and Solution Manager.

- Perform comprehensive system administration activities, such as performance monitoring and tuning, transport management, background job setup, applying support packages, kernel upgrades, OSS note implementation, printer setup, client copies, and system refreshes.

- Work effectively across operating systems like SUSE Linux, AIX, and various Windows Server versions.

- Utilize tools like ServiceNow for efficient incident, problem, and change management processes.

- Collaborate with and assist team members in the development and implementation of technical solutions, including new implementations, upgrades, and migrations, while providing ongoing project support.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS.

- Mandatory deep technical skills in HANA, DB2, and Oracle Administration.

- Proven experience with installation, upgrade, and support of global SAP systems.

- Extensive working knowledge of SAP products such as ECC, BW, APO, Live Cache, CRM, PI/PO, Portal, BOBJ, BODS, Fiori, Content Server, and Solution Manager.

- Strong command of system administration activities including performance monitoring/tuning, transports, background job setup, applying support packages, kernel upgrades, OSS notes, printer setup, client copy, and system refresh activities.

- Proficiency in working with SUSE Linux, AIX, and all Windows Server versions.

- Experience with ServiceNow for IT service management.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
