Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities :

- Transport TRs (Configurations, changes, code, access rights, .) from development through test environments to production for :

1. On demand hotfixes

2. Weekly transports to test

3. Monthly releases to production

4. Transport of Copies (ToC), generation modules, customize requests

- Daily monitoring and health checks of the SAP system (online and batch processing)

1. Access rights management /SAP Security and Authorizations)

2. Develop and test new or change access groups and roles

3. Grant access for testers, developers and productive users

4. User Management (Creation, Change, Deletion)

5. Role Management (Creation, Change, Deletion)

6. Troubleshooting of authorization issues from business and technical perspective

- SAP batch job management and TWS job management (Mainframne) to run these SAP jobs in test environments and production

1. Creation

- Support SAP yearly (minor) stack upgrades and SAP (major) release updates every 3-5 years

- Support migration activities from legacy to SAP ICM :

1. Creation of new clients and deletion of old ones

2. Transporting and loading data from one system to the other

- Performing system and client copies

- OSS notes and messages administration

1. Creation OSS tickets to SAP

2. Follow up tickets internal and to SAP

3. Follow OSS news

- SAP HANA DB management

- DB related activities, e.g. monitoring space, I/O, DB refresh

- Handling input and output interfaces from SAP to surrounding systems (e.g. Mainframe, Kafka)

- Consulting for projects, architecture etc.

- Collaboration in SAP projects regarding the SAP basis and the SAP architecture

- Creation and updating of concepts and documentation (authorisation management, operational management, change management)

- Creation and updating of documentation in accordance with the regulatory requirements for an insurance company (especially VAIT)

- Accompanying and supporting auditors during regular and unscheduled audits (e.g. during the annual financial statement)

- Project support for technical SAP issues

- User support for questions regarding SAP technology

- Operational SAP license management

Key Competencies & Skills required :

- Domain knowledge of SAP

- SAP basis administration

- SAP on HANA DB

- SAP S/4 HANA

- HANA studio

- SAP S/4 HANA Migration Cockpit knowledge

- SAP landscape and infrastructure

Education/Qualification & Knowledge & Experience :

- 8-10 years' experience in SAP Base Administration

- Significant experience within the ITIL processes Service Request Management, Change and Release Management and Incident Management
