SAP Basis Administrator - System Configuration

Title : SAP Basis Admin.

Location : Pune/ Bangalore/ Hyderabad (Onsite).

Employment Type : C2H.

Required Experience : 36 Years.

Notice Period : Immediate 15 days.

Role :

The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing ABAP and JAVA-based systems, SSL/SSO configurations, and application-level troubleshooting.

The consultant will support ongoing operations, implement infrastructure upgrades, and coordinate with clients and project teams to ensure a stable and secure SAP landscape.

Responsibilities :

- Provide production support across development, QA, and production systems (ECC, BW, PI, etc.

- Handle client communication during bridge calls and critical incidents.

- Manage and maintain SAP environments, including Transport Management System (TMS), job scheduling, and printer configuration.

- Perform SSL and SSO configurations (certificates exchange, trust building, renewals).

- Support application integrations : SAP BOBJ, BODS, Content Server, Cloud Connector, OpenText (optional).

- Monitor and maintain web dispatcher configurations.

- Conduct client copies, system refreshes, and SAP upgrades.

- Ensure integrity of SAP systems using CTS and follow structured change management processes.

- Proactively work on performance tuning strategies and health checks.

- Document issues, configurations, and recurring tasks clearly.

Required Skills :

- 36 years of SAP BASIS experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP & JAVA stack systems.

- SSL/SSO configuration (certificates, trust setup, renewals).

- SAP system monitoring (SM21, ST22, SM37, ST06, etc.

- CTS (Change and Transport System) management.

- SAP printing subsystem configuration.

- Knowledge of client copies and system refresh procedures.

- Good communication and client-facing skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to SAP BOBJ, BODS, Content Server, OpenText.

- Cloud Connector & Web Dispatcher experience.

- Basic knowledge of HANA DB & OS-level scripting.

- Experience with SAP upgrades and patching.

- ITIL awareness or certification.
