Role : SAP Basis Administrator

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Administrator with 3 - 6 years of experience to join our team in a Full-time Permanent capacity across multiple locations (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, India). This role requires an Immediate joiner with deep, hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration and architecture, specifically focusing on the operation and maintenance of S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and NW JAVA environments, alongside specialized components like Convergent Charging and the SAP Web Dispatcher.

Primary Responsibility & Core Functions :

Core SAP Administration and Architecture :

- Possess 3+ years of professional experience in SAP Basis administration and architecture, particularly of modern SAP applications like S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and NW JAVA systems.

- Maintain sound administration knowledge across key components including S/4 HANA, JAVA, Pacemaker, SAP BW, and SAP SCM.

- Demonstrate Hands-on experience in ABAP and JAVA system administration as a mandatory skill.

Specialized System Management :

- Provide Hands-on experience on SAP Convergent Charging (CC), including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

- Implement and manage the SAP Web dispatcher and SAP Cloud Connector to secure and manage access to SAP systems from external networks and cloud services.

- Handle HANA XSA content server upgrade activities.

- Possess Knowledge on other applications like BOBJ BI, BODS, BOBJ /BODS/Lumira as a must-have skill for integration and support.

Security and System Lifecycle :

- Execute Hands-on experience in SSL implementations for critical infrastructure components, including Web dispatcher, BO, ABAP, and JAVA systems, ensuring secure communication.

- Possess Knowledge on system copy and post migration activities across various SAP landscapes.

- Work with specialized tools and components such as Celonis, Fiori, SAP Mobile Platform, and Convergent Charging.

Troubleshooting and Engagement :

- Utilize Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex incidents across the entire SAP landscape quickly and effectively.

- Engage directly in Customer Engagement, acting as a technical liaison to ensure system needs meet business requirements.

- Familiarity with specific support environments like GSK Software Support will be beneficial.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 3- 6 years of professional experience, with 3+ years in SAP Basis administration.

- Core Platforms : Sound administration knowledge in S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and NW JAVA.

- Mandatory Hands-on : Hands-on experience in ABAP and JAVA system administration.

- Key Components : Hands-on experience with SAP Convergent Charging, Web Dispatcher, and SAP Cloud Connector.

- Security : Hands-on experience in SSL implementations for Web dispatcher, BO, ABAP, JAVA systems.

- BI/BODS : Knowledge on BOBJ BI and BODS is mandatory.

- Troubleshooting : Strong troubleshooting skills.

- Lifecycle : Knowledge on system copy and post migration activities and HANA XSA content server upgrade.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of Pacemaker for high availability configurations.

- Experience with Content server and Open Text solutions.

- Experience with Fiori and SAP Mobile Platform administration.
