We are seeking a highly experienced and self-motivated SAP Basis Administrator with 7+ years of relevant experience to join our remote team. This is a critical role responsible for the comprehensive management, maintenance, and optimization of our SAP landscapes. Key Responsibilities :

SAP System Lifecycle Management :

- Perform SAP installations and upgrades across various SAP components (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Solution Manager).

- Execute system copies, refreshes, and client administration (create, copy, delete clients) as per business requirements.

SAP Basis Administration :

- Provide hands-on expertise in SAP Basis administration for ABAP Stack, including applying Support Packs, Kernels, and SAP Notes.

- Manage the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure proper promotion of configuration and development objects across landscapes.

- Conduct performance tuning and monitoring of SAP systems to identify bottlenecks and ensure optimal performance.

- Administer and manage user authorizations and security profiles within SAP.

Database Administration (Oracle DB) :

- Possess significant hands-on experience with Oracle DB, including monitoring, performance tuning, and backup/restore operations.

- Utilize BRTools effectively for Oracle database management, including tasks such as database backups, restores, recoveries, and space management.

- Experience managing database reorganizations (reorg) and ensuring data integrity.

Operating System & Scripting :

- Demonstrate significant expertise in Unix and Linux operating systems.

- Develop and maintain Unix scripting for automation of routine SAP Basis and database administration tasks.

Job Scheduling & Automation :

- Utilize and manage enterprise job scheduling tools such as UC4 (Automic) or Redwood (RunMyJobs) to schedule, monitor, and manage complex batch jobs and automated processes across the SAP landscape.

Solution Manager :

- Ability to install and configure SAP Solution Manager, leveraging its capabilities for monitoring, landscape management, and solution documentation.

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Proactively monitor system health, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot complex problems related to SAP applications, database, and operating systems.

- Provide expert-level support for SAP incidents and service requests, ensuring high system availability and stability.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 7+ years of relevant experience in SAP Basis Administration.

- Mandatory hands-on experience with Oracle Database administration.

- Mandatory proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.

- Mandatory experience working with a Job Scheduling Tool, specifically UC4 (Automic) or Redwood (RunMyJobs).

- Proven experience with SAP installations, upgrades, and system copy procedures.

- Strong experience in SAP Basis Administration tasks including support pack application, kernel upgrades, and note implementations.

- Experience with performance tuning and monitoring of SAP systems.

- Familiarity with BRTools for Oracle database management.

- Ability to install and configure SAP Solution Manager.
