Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-grade asset performance solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP APM and EAM processes, a strong foundation in cloud and integration architecture, and a proven ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.

As a trusted advisor, you will guide enterprise customers through their digital asset transformation journey - from solution blueprinting to deployment and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

Solution Architecture & Design :


- Architect and design end-to-end SAP APM solutions leveraging Strategy and Performance Management, FMEA, Risk & Criticality Assessment, and Asset Health Monitoring modules.

- Define and implement Asset Central Foundation (ACF) data models, asset hierarchies, and

equipment classifications.

- Integrate SAP APM with SAP PM/EAM, IoT sensors, and condition monitoring platforms.

- Enable extensibility through SAP BTP, REST APIs, and event-based integration.

- Support predictive maintenance initiatives leveraging SAP Predictive Asset Insights (PAI) and machine learning models.

Architectural & Cloud Skills :

- Design and deploy APM solutions using SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, and Integration Suite.

- Ensure APM solutions are secure, scalable, and high-performing across cloud or hybrid landscapes.

- Utilize SAP Fiori UX and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for KPI visualization and performance analytics.

Consulting & Leadership :

- Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and solution blueprinting for asset management transformations.

- Translate business challenges into technical roadmaps and architecture frameworks.

- Mentor consultants and lead cross-functional teams across SAP EAM, IoT, Analytics, and BTP domains.

- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders and executives.

Implementation Leadership :

- Act as the primary architect across the APM implementation lifecycle - from design to go-live and optimization.

- Oversee data migration for asset master data, performance history, and condition data.

- Drive integration with SAP S/4HANA EAM/PM, IoT systems, and third-party monitoring tools.

- Ensure system security, scalability, and compliance in all deployment models.

Governance & Quality Assurance :

- Establish and enforce solution governance, design standards, and best practices for APM projects.

- Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technical quality checks.

- Contribute to internal knowledge building and APM capability development within the organization.

Required Qualifications :


- Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience :

- 10+ years of total SAP experience, with a strong focus on Enterprise Asset Management (EAM/PM).

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP APM solution architecture and implementation.

- Proven delivery experience with SAP Intelligent Asset Management Suite - including APM,

ACF, PAI, and SAP BTP.

- Strong integration expertise with SAP S/4HANA, IoT, and third-party asset monitoring platforms.

- Exposure to predictive analytics, machine learning models, or reliability-centered maintenance is an advantage.

Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have) :


- SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Asset Performance Management

- SAP Certified Technology Specialist - SAP Business Technology Platform

- Reliability Engineering Certifications (CMRP, CRL)
