Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Implementation Lead / Solution Architect to drive end-to-end SAP Ariba programs across global procurement landscapes.

The role involves designing and delivering scalable, compliant, and clean-core-aligned Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solutions, leading integrations with SAP ECC and S/4HANA, and ensuring governance, compliance, and business value realization across large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end SAP Ariba implementations including Greenfield, Brownfield, and Global Rollouts.

Design and deliver Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solutions using :

- Ariba Buying & Invoicing

- Ariba Sourcing

- Ariba Contracts

- Ariba Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP)

- Define and govern global templates and rollout strategies.

- Conduct solution design workshops, blueprinting, and fit-gap analysis with business stakeholders.

- Define and enforce clean-core compliant extension strategies.

- Ensure alignment of Ariba solutions with enterprise procurement and finance objectives.

Lead SAP Ariba integrations with :

- SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA (Private & Public Cloud)

- SAP CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway)

- SAP CPI (good to have)

Design and govern integrations for :

- Purchase Orders

- Invoices

- Goods Receipts

- Supplier Master Data

- Payment Status

- Own end-to-end interface testing, cutover planning, and go-live support.

- Provide technical leadership across integration design, issue resolution, and performance optimization.

Define and optimize P2P processes using industry best practices, including :

- 2-way and 3-way invoice matching

- Touchless invoicing

- Invoice exception handling

- Configure and govern:

- Tax and withholding requirements

- E-invoicing and statutory compliance (India, EU, LATAM)

- Lead supplier onboarding, enablement, and adoption strategies across regions.

- Ensure high levels of supplier and business user adoption.

- Design audit-ready and SOX-compliant procurement processes.

- Implement approval workflows, delegation rules, tolerance limits, and escalation mechanisms.

- Define and manage risk, exception, and control frameworks across procurement operations.

- Partner with audit, compliance, and finance stakeholders to ensure regulatory adherence.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of SAP Ariba consulting experience.

- Minimum 3+ end-to-end SAP Ariba implementations.

Strong hands-on expertise in :

- Buying & Invoicing

- Sourcing

- Contracts

- Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP)

Deep functional knowledge of :

- Invoice reconciliation

- 2-way & 3-way matching

- Invoice exception management

- Approval workflows and controls

- Hands-on experience with:

- SAP CIG

- IDocs and Web Services

- SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA integration

- Knowledge of SAP CPI is an added advantage.

Strong understanding of :

- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

- Source-to-Pay (S2P)

- Finance and Accounts Payable processes

- Taxation, compliance, and regulatory frameworks

- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Strong client-facing, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience leading large global programs and multi-country rollouts.

- Excellent documentation, solution design, and governance skills.

- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior consultants.

- Experience working in offshoreonsite delivery models.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP Ariba or SAP S/4HANA certifications (preferred).

- Experience working with global enterprises across multiple geographies.

- Exposure to transformation programs involving procurement digitization.
