SAP Archiving & ILM Specialist

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage SAP data archiving solutions across various SAP modules.

- Apply a strong understanding of SAP archiving concepts, including archiving classes, profiles, and data retention periods.

- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP ILM (Information Lifecycle Management) modules to define and enforce data retention and destruction policies.

- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for data retention.

- Contribute to overall SAP data management, data governance, and data quality initiatives.

- Work to optimize database performance by effectively managing data volume through archiving and ILM.

- Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify archiving opportunities, troubleshoot issues, and optimize existing solutions.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data retention needs and translate them into technical archiving and ILM strategies.

- Possess the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- SAP Experience : Minimum 6+ years of experience working with SAP systems, with a strong focus on SAP archiving and ILM.

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of SAP archiving concepts, including archiving objects, archiving classes, profiles, and retention periods.

- Hands-on experience with SAP ILM (Information Lifecycle Management) configuration and implementation.

- Familiarity with broader SAP data management, data governance, and data quality principles.

- Analytical & Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex data and system challenges.

Business Acumen :

- Good understanding of business requirements related to data retention and information lifecycle.

- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
