Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled SAP APO-ABAP Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimization) development and support, with deep expertise in APO modules including DP, SNP, and PPDS.

The role involves working closely with clients to implement, enhance, and support SAP APO solutions, integrating SAP technology with business processes to drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical consulting and support for SAP APO modules, including DP, SNP, and PPDS.

- Perform custom development and enhancement using APO-ABAP and OO-ABAP.

- Collaborate with functional teams to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and develop corresponding solutions.

- Design and develop RICEFW objects in APO landscapes.

- Work on SAP Core Interface (CIF), LiveCache, and user exits related to APO modules.

- Debug and resolve issues in inbound/outbound queues and planning-related problems in SNP, DP, and PPDS.

- Participate in end-to-end implementation, upgrade, and support projects involving APO modules.

- Create detailed technical design documents and ensure high-quality code development and documentation.

- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and technical excellence.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 6-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP with a strong focus on APO modules.

- At least one full lifecycle implementation as an SAP APO-ABAP Consultant.

- Proven experience in APO-ABAP support and development projects.

- Strong experience in OO-ABAP, Function Modules, BAPIs, RFCs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework.

- Expertise in APO development across DP, SNP, PPDS, and CIF interfaces.

- Hands-on experience working with LiveCache and resolving queue-related issues.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in the APO landscape.

- Good understanding of SNP and PPDS master data and supply chain planning processes.

- Ability to independently create technical specifications from functional designs.

Nice to Have Skills :

Functional knowledge or hands-on experience with :

- APO-DP (Demand Planning)

- APO-SNP (Supply Network Planning)

- APO-PPDS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling)

- Exposure to SNP Heuristics and supply chain optimization strategies.

- Good customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
