Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP, ABAP OO (Object-Oriented), and CDS (Core Data Services) views.

- Design and implement custom solutions, reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements (RICEFW objects).

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Optimize database performance by implementing efficient programming and data retrieval techniques.

- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and other technical problems.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and post-go-live support.

- Adhere to best practices for coding, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Professional & Technical Skills :

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong programming background in ABAP/ABAP OO and CDS : Extensive hands-on experience in developing and debugging complex ABAP programs, including report programs, function modules, and BAdIs. Proficiency in creating and utilizing CDS views for data modeling and reporting.

- Experience with database management and optimization techniques : Proven ability to write efficient database queries and optimize code for performance, especially in a large-scale enterprise environment.

- Familiarity with SAP HANA architecture and data modeling : Understanding of how HANA's columnar database and in-memory capabilities impact development. Knowledge of creating and optimizing CDS views for SAP HANA.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software defects effectively : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix technical issues in a timely manner.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Knowledge of ABAP RAP (Restful Application Programming) model : Experience with building Fiori-based applications using the ABAP RAP framework.

- Experience with OData services : Knowledge of creating and consuming OData services for integration with front-end technologies like SAP Fiori.

- Familiarity with SAP Cloud Integration : Understanding of how to integrate SAP systems with other cloud and on-premise applications using technologies like SAP CPI.

Qualifications :

- Experience : 5-12 years of professional experience in SAP ABAP development.
