Job Summary :

We are seeking a high-caliber SAP ABAP Team Lead to spearhead the engineering and delivery of mission-critical SAP applications within the FinTech and Payments domain.

This is a senior leadership role requiring a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on technical mastery. You will take full ownership of the development lifecycle, focusing on the customization of SAP modules and the optimization of a proprietary FinTech Custom Connector.

The ideal candidate is a "Team Player" who can coordinate across departments (FI/CO, MM, HR, BW) to ensure a seamless, high-performance experience for our global client base.

Key Responsibilities :

- Technical Leadership & Ownership : Act as the primary owner for the development, customization, and long-term maintenance of SAP applications and custom Fintech connectors.

- Complex Integration Engineering : Design and implement robust integration programs using SAP PI/PO to facilitate H2H (Host-to-Host) and REST/SOAP API connectivity between SAP and external financial gateways.

- Module Customization : Consult with functional leads to deliver tailored solutions across SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, and HR, ensuring consistent data flow and system integrity.

- Requirement Analysis & Blueprinting : Coordinate directly with client representatives to translate minute business objectives into detailed technical blueprints and ABAP code.

- Code Quality & Testing : Write high-efficiency ABAP code, conduct regular usability tests, and perform code reviews to ensure adherence to Fintech-grade security and performance standards.

- Resource Allocation : Oversee project schedules and allocate technical resources effectively to ensure on-time delivery of all SAP programs.

- Technical Support & Troubleshooting : Provide advanced troubleshooting guidelines and system modifications post-delivery to maintain system stability.

- Knowledge Transfer : Lead training sessions for end-users and client representatives, ensuring smooth adoption of the SAP ABAP software lifecycle.

Technical Must-Have Skills :

- ABAP Mastery : Advanced proficiency in Core ABAP, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (RICEFW).

- Integration Technologies : Strong experience in SAP PI/PO, ALE/IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and OData services.

- Module Integration : Deep technical understanding of integration points with SAP FI (Financials), CO (Controlling), MM (Materials Management), and SD (Sales & Distribution).

- Web Services : Expert knowledge of integrating SAP with third-party systems via H2H and API frameworks.

- Performance Tuning : Skills in SQL Trace, ABAP Runtime Analysis, and Code Inspector to optimize high-volume financial data processing.

Technical Stack :

- Core Platform : SAP ECC 6.0 or SAP S/4HANA

- Development : ABAP (OOPs), ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP

- Middleware : SAP PI/PO, SAP Cloud Integration (CPI)

- Connectivity : H2H, REST/SOAP APIs, EDI, BAPI, IDoc

- Functional Scope : FI/CO, MM, SD, HR, BW

Required Qualifications :

- Education : Post-Graduate / Masters Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- Experience : Extensive experience in SAP ABAP programming with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.

- Domain : Previous experience in the Fintech or Payments industry is highly preferred.
