SAP ABAP Senior Developer

Description :

- Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Support SAP technical upgrades including SPAU and SPAD adjustments.

- Work on performance tuning and optimization of ABAP programs.

- Participate in end-to-end implementation and support projects.

- Document technical specifications and development activities.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.

- Strong proficiency in ABAP programming (Reports, Module Pool, ALV, BDC, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, Enhancement frameworks etc.).

- Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP and ABAP on HANA.

- Hands-on experience with S/4HANA specific technologies like CDS views, AMDP.

- Good understanding of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI, and BRIM.

- Hands-on experience with SPAU and SPAD during SAP upgrades.

- Knowledge of integration techniques (REST API, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Service and ODATA).

- Familiarity with debugging and performance analysis tools.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Experience with SAP HANA database and its interaction with ABAP.

- Proficient in SAP Web IDE, Eclipse IDE, and other relevant development tools.

Required Skills :

Qualifications :

- Bachelor / Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline

- 6 to 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development

Desirable :

- SAP S/4 HANA certification in ABAP.
