Job Overview :

We are seeking an ABAP RAP Consultant with at least 3 years of development or development support experience in the ERP domain. The ideal candidate will be proficient in software design principles, object-oriented design, and possess strong knowledge of ABAP, OOABAP, RAP, ABAP Unit, Data Dictionary, Function Modules, OData, and CDS. This role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions within the SAP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and provide support for solutions within the ERP domain, leveraging a minimum of 3 years of experience.

- Apply strong proficiency in software design principles and object-oriented design to create robust and scalable ABAP applications.

- Utilize in-depth knowledge of ABAP, OOABAP, RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model), ABAP Unit, Data Dictionary, Function Modules, OData, and CDS Views for development and enhancement tasks.

- Employ excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, especially within SD (Sales and Distribution) and PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries) modules.

- Contribute to continuous improvement by adhering to best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- At least 3 years of development/development support experience in the ERP domain.

- Proficiency in software design principles and object-oriented design.

- Strong knowledge of ABAP, OOABAP, and the Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

- Experience with ABAP Unit for testing, Data Dictionary, and Function Modules.

- Proficiency in developing and consuming OData services and CDS (Core Data Services) views.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Working functional and process knowledge of SD (Sales and Distribution).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Functional and process knowledge of PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries).

- Exposure to agile development methodologies like SCRUM.
