Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP RAP Consultant / Technical Developer with deep expertise in S/4HANA Cloud development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating SAP systems using ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), CDS views, AMDP, and other cloud-ready ABAP technologies. This role involves collaborating with functional teams to deliver efficient, scalable, and upgrade-safe solutions in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Development & Integration :

- Design, develop, test, and implement ABAP solutions within SAP S/4HANA systems, focusing on cloud-ready and RAP-based developments.

- Create and manage interfaces to connect SAP systems with BTP Adobe Forms and other integrated applications.

- Implement CDS views and AMDP based on business requirements.

- Develop and optimize RESTful ABAP Programming (RAP) models for both Managed and Unmanaged scenarios.

Analysis & Collaboration :

- Analyze business requirements and map them to technical solutions in line with S/4HANA cloud architecture.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design efficient, maintainable, and scalable solutions.

- Ensure ABAP developments are upgrade-safe and follow best practices and coding standards.

Testing & Implementation :

- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and application scenario testing for developed solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure seamless functionality of SAP modules.

- Support implementation and go-live activities as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with 612 years as a Technical Developer.

- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).

- Expertise in S/4HANA Cloud and Private Cloud environments.

- Proficiency in CDS views, AMDP, interfaces, and integration with SAP BTP Adobe Forms.

- Experience with cloud-ready ABAP design principles and upgrade-safe developments.

- Solid understanding of SAP functional modules and integration points.

- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Attributes :

- Prior experience in end-to-end S/4HANA implementation projects.

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 integration with ABAP RAP.

- Ability to mentor junior ABAP developers and share best practices.
