Title : Lead II - SAP ABAP Consultant (S/4HANA)

Experience : 7 to 9 years

Mode of work : Hybrid - 3 days in office

Role And Responsibilities :

An SAP ABAP Consultant (S/4HANA) designs, develops, and optimizes ABAP programs for SAP S/4HANA, focusing on RICEFs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms), OData services, and performance using Core Data Services (CDS) views and AMDPs.


Key responsibilities include :


- Collaborating with functional teams, supporting data migration, ensuring code quality, and contributing to S/4HANA best practices and upgrades.


- A strong understanding of S/4HANA functionalities, ABAP-specific tools like SAP Gateway and the SAP Business Technology Platform.

- ABAP Development : Design, develop, and optimize ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEF objects) specifically for the S/4HANA environment.

- S/4HANA Technologies : Leverage and implement new S/4HANA development techniques, including Core Data Services (CDS) Views, AMDPs (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and the Rapid Application Development (RAP) model.

- Strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge combined with core ABAP expertise.

Extensive hands-on experience in RICEF objects including :

- Reports

- Interfaces

- Conversions

- Enhancements (BADIs, Exits)

- Forms

Proven experience in performance analysis and optimization of ABAP code.

Ability to work independently, managing own tasks and deliverables with minimal supervision while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Good-to-Have Skills and Experience :

Experience working with advanced ABAP programming techniques including :

- Core Data Services (CDS) Views

- ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP)

- OData Services development and consumption

Understanding of Order to Cash (OTC) business processes within SAP.
