Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP HR Consultant with strong expertise in SAP ECC HCM and SuccessFactors integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ABAP HR development, BIB framework, and SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). This role involves designing, developing, and supporting integrations between SAP ECC HCM and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, ensuring seamless data flow and system stability.
The candidate will work closely with functional consultants, integration teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient HR solutions aligned with global HR processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and support SAP ABAP HR solutions in SAP ECC HCM environment.
- Lead and manage integration between SAP ECC HCM and SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
- Work extensively on Business Integration Builder (BIB) framework for SuccessFactors integrations.
- Develop and enhance inbound and outbound interfaces using standard and custom BIB programs.
- Implement and support integrations using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
- Handle data replication, employee master data, organizational data, and compensation-related integrations between ECC and SuccessFactors.
- Analyze integration errors, monitor data flows, and perform root cause analysis to resolve issues.
- Customize and enhance ABAP HR reports, interfaces, user exits, BAdIs, and enhancements.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities.
- Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and integration standards.
- Provide production support and handle incident management for HR integration-related issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and operational guides.
Required Technical Skills :
- Strong experience in SAP ABAP HR (PA, OM, Payroll preferred).
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC HCM to SAP SuccessFactors integration.
- Solid expertise in BIB (Business Integration Builder) framework.
- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for HR integrations.
- In-depth knowledge of SuccessFactors Employee Central data models and replication scenarios.
- Strong understanding of IDocs, Web Services, APIs, and file-based integrations.
- Experience in ABAP Objects, Reports, Enhancements, User Exits, BAdIs, and ALV.
- Knowledge of HR Infotypes, data structures, and HR-specific tables.
- Experience in handling data mapping, transformation, and error handling.
Functional & Domain Knowledge :
- Strong understanding of HR business processes.
- Experience working with global HR implementations and integrations.
- Knowledge of organizational management and employee lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with HR data privacy and compliance standards.
Soft Skills & Other Requirements :
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact with business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in an onsite environment.
- Comfortable working in UK time zone (2 PM 11 PM IST).
- Strong documentation and coordination skills.
Nice to Have :
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA HCM or HXM landscape.
- Experience with hybrid HR landscapes (On-Prem + Cloud).
- Prior experience in support and enhancement projects.
