We are looking for a highly skilled ABAP on HANA Developer with strong experience in the new ABAP syntax and HANA optimization techniques. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in developing, enhancing, and supporting SAP applications using modern ABAP features and best practices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and optimize ABAP programs leveraging ABAP on HANA capabilities.
- Work with new ABAP syntax (7.4/7.5), AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), CDS Views, and modern ABAP constructs.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEF objects).
- Optimize ABAP code for better performance on HANA database.
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in end-to-end development lifecycle including requirement gathering, coding, unit testing, performance tuning, and deployment.
- Support issue resolution, debugging, and enhancements in existing SAP applications.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and security compliance.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development.
Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, including :
- CDS Views
- AMDP
- Open SQL with new syntax
- Performance tuning techniques
- Hands-on experience with OO ABAP and modern ABAP syntax (7.4/7.5).
- Knowledge of RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
- Good understanding of SAP HANA database concepts and optimization methods.
- Experience working in hybrid delivery model (onsite-offshore coordination).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Good to Have :
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 integration.
- Knowledge of S/4HANA migration or implementation projects.
- Familiarity with Agile/DevOps methodologies.
