Role : SAP ABAP on HANA Consultant (WFO - Chennai)

We are actively seeking an experienced and talented SAP ABAP on HANA Consultant to join our team in Chennai.

In this full-time, work-from-office position, you will be a key contributor to our SAP projects, focusing on developing cutting-edge solutions using the latest ABAP on HANA techniques.

As an SAP ABAP on HANA Consultant, you'll be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of robust SAP solutions.

You will work on various modules, applying your strong technical expertise in ABAP on HANA to create efficient and effective business applications.

We're looking for an individual who is not only a skilled developer but also a strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement SAP solutions using ABAP on HANA programming.

- Work on various development objects, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversions.

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Conduct performance tuning, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

- Prepare detailed technical specifications, test cases, and documentation.

- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

Key Skills & Requirements :

- Strong ABAP Development : Proven expertise in key ABAP development tools and techniques, including SAP Workbench, ALV, Dialog Programming, Smart Forms, BDC, and BAPI.

- ABAP on HANA : Expertise in ABAP on HANA, including new syntax (7.4+), performance tools, debugging, runtime analysis, and SQL trace.

- Advanced ABAP : Good exposure to CDS (Core Data Services), AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and UI5 is a plus.

- Object-Oriented Programming : Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts within ABAP.

- Communication & Integration : Experience with ODATA, RFC, and batch scheduling.

- Project Lifecycle : Hands-on experience with the full system development lifecycle, from design to implementation and support.

- Soft Skills : Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Documentation : Experience in preparing technical specifications and comprehensive test cases.

Work Details

Location : Chennai, India (Work from Office only)

Shift : 8 :30 AM to 5 :30 PM (IST)
