SAP ABAP Full Stack Lead

Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Full Stack Lead to own the design, architecture, development, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP product features. This role involves building scalable, reusable, clean-core compliant solutions across backend (ABAP, CDS, RAP) and frontend (Fiori/UI5) layers while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced product engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop product features for SAP S/4HANA & SAP BTP.

- Implement RAP/ABAP REST APIs, CDS Views, Enhancements, Cloud Extensions.

- Build full-stack Fiori/UI5 applications using OData, CDS & UI5 frameworks.

- Apply clean-core, side-by-side extensions, event mesh & cloud extensibility patterns.

- Drive code reviews, quality checks, unit tests & CI/CD best practices.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX, Functional SMEs & QA teams.

- Optimize performance for CDS, OData, RAP actions, RFCs & integrations.

- Provide technical mentorship & enforce secure coding standards.

- Troubleshoot production issues & deliver root-cause driven fixes.

- Maintain detailed engineering & release documentation.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong ABAP expertise on S/4HANA :

1. OO-ABAP, BADIs, Enhancements, AMDP

2. CDS Views, RAP (Restful ABAP Programming)

- Custom OData / RAP services & integration patterns (REST, SOAP, RFC, Events)

- SAP BTP Extension Suite (RAP mandatory; CAP optional)

- Fiori/UI5 full-stack development (Controllers, Views, Theming, Reuse Libraries)

- Git, ATC, ABAP Test Cockpit, CI/CD Pipelines

- Deep understanding of Clean-Core principles & Cloud Extensibility

Good-to-Have Skills :

- CAP (Node.js/Java), Workflow, Business Rules & Event Mesh

- SAP CPI / Integration Suite

- Exposure to SCM modules PP, PLM, QM, MM, PM

- Experience with SaaS or multi-tenant product builds on BTP

Leadership & Soft Skills :

- Strong engineering mindset with product-driven decision making.

- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable architecture.

- Experience in team leadership, code governance & design reviews.

- Excellent communication & stakeholder management.

Education & Certifications :

- BE / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent

- SAP Certifications in ABAP, RAP, CAP, Fiori/UI5 an added advantage
