Key Responsibilities :

- Application Development : Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP applications; ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Code Quality & Best Practices : Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code while adhering to SAP development standards, best practices, and security guidelines.

- Technical Leadership : Mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions.

- Performance Optimization : Ensure application stability and performance; proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks and defects.

- Integration : Develop and maintain integrations with external systems, third-party APIs, and cloud services using SAP technologies.

- Continuous Improvement : Suggest and implement enhancements to improve existing applications, tools, and processes.

Required Skills & Expertise :

Core Expertise :

- ABAP Programming (5+ years total / 4+ years strong ABAP expertise) :

- Custom reports, function modules, user exits, BADIs, enhancements, and workflows.

- Hands-on with ABAP Workbench, SE80, SE11, debugging tools, and performance tuning.

- Experience customizing SAP MM modules and automating workflows.

- Integration & Interfaces (2+ years) :

- Proficient with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, and File Interfaces.

- Exposure to SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI for middleware integration.

- Ability to design and maintain smooth, automated data flows across enterprise systems.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have :

- Fiori UI Development : Experience in custom Fiori app development.

- SAP MM Module Knowledge : Familiarity with procurement and P2P processes.

- Performance Optimization : Proven skills in troubleshooting and enhancing system efficiency.

Education & Certifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- SAP ABAP-related certification(s) strongly preferred.

Experience :

- Overall 5+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years in SAP ABAP programming.

- Minimum 2+ years in SAP integration and interfaces.

- Experience in global, cross-functional environments is a plus
