Role Summary :

As an SAP ABAP Application Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and configuring SAP applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role involves collaborating with functional and technical teams, delivering high-quality solutions, and ensuring optimal performance of SAP systems. You will work independently, contribute to technical discussions, and progressively develop as a subject matter expert (SME) within the team.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement SAP ABAP solutions to enhance business process efficiency and system functionality.

- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and technical documentation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.

- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of ABAP programs.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process and system enhancements.

- Provide technical mentorship and support to junior developers.

- Stay current with SAP technologies, Fiori/UI5 trends, and emerging best practices to drive innovation.

Professional & Technical Skills :

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP development (Reports, Enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Smart Forms, etc.).

- Deep understanding of SAP modules (such as MM, SD, FI/CO, PP, or HR) and their integration points.

- Hands-on experience in performance tuning and optimized ABAP coding practices.

- Good knowledge of SAP Fiori and UI5 development frameworks.

- Strong analytical and debugging skills for resolving production and integration issues.

- Experience with transport management, version control, and testing processes.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to OData services, SAP Gateway, and S/4HANA development concepts.

- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps tools for SAP.

- Familiarity with workflow development and IDoc/ALE interfaces.
