Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SAP ABAP-RICEFW Consultant to drive development and technical excellence within our SAP S/4HANA environment.

This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience and expert proficiency in the SAP ABAP programming language, focusing on modern development techniques.

The Consultant will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality RICEFW objects, ensuring seamless integration across modules, leveraging S/4HANA specific tools (CDS Views, OData), and acting as a technical expert to ensure timely, compliant, and scalable solutions.

Core Responsibilities :

ABAP Development and RICEFW Delivery :

- Design, build, and maintain high-quality SAP ABAP applications for complex business requirements, focusing on the full life-cycle development process.

- Perform complex ABAP programming, testing, and debugging functions related to the implementation and enhancement of SAP modules.

- Develop and modify core SAP modules, and connected modules/systems, to meet business needs.

- Expertly develop and maintain all RICEFW Objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow), with a strong focus on:

Interfaces :

- Configuration and development related to IDOCs and file-based transfers (SFTP).

Enhancement Framework :

- Utilizing User Exits, Screen Exits, and BADIs to customize standard SAP functionality.

Forms :

- Designing and developing custom documents using Adobe Forms.

Workflow :

- Designing and programming automated business processes.

S/4HANA, Integration, and Interfacing :

- Demonstrate mandatory experience working within the SAP S/4HANA environment.

- Develop and consume modern data models using CDS Views (Core Data Services) and Table Functions for analytics and consumption layers.

- Design and model OData services based on CDS views or custom logic for external exposure and Fiori application consumption.

- Ensure seamless integration of custom-built objects with core functional modules like MM (Material Management) and FI (Financial Accounting).

- Possess interfacing skills/knowledge related to IDOCs, RFC/BAPIs, and modern cloud integration platforms like SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform).

Support, Quality, and Compliance :

- Act as the technical expert, providing ongoing support and enhancements, ensuring a quick turnaround in identifying application issues and delivering timely solutions.

- Engage proactively with functional teams and stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and ensure solutions meet both functionality and compliance standards.

- Document and maintain all code changes and customizations strictly in accordance with standard compliance procedures.

- Ensure all SAP solutions comply with internal technical and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Core ABAP: Expert proficiency in the SAP ABAP programming language and performing complex programming, testing, and debugging.

- RICEFW Expertise: Proven experience developing all major RICEFW Objects (Reports, Interfaces, Forms, Enhancements, Workflow).

- S/4HANA Technology: Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA development and expertise in CDS Views and OData services design/modeling.

- Integration: Experience with IDOCs, RFC/BAPIs, and connecting with other SAP modules (MM, FI).

- Enhancements: Strong experience with the Enhancement framework (BADIs, User Exits, Screen Exits).

- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to act as a technical expert and solve application issues quickly.

Logistics :

- Notice Period: Immediate - 15 days

- Contract: Long-term contract (Extendable)

- Work Location: PAN INDIA (with specific work centers in Bangalore/Hyderabad)

- Minimum Experience: 5+ Years
