About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented SAP ABAP Developer to join our SAP team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining custom ABAP programs and integrations across various SAP modules.
This role requires strong technical skills, an understanding of SAP business processes, and the ability to collaborate with functional consultants and business users.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work on object-oriented ABAP programming and enhancement techniques (User Exits, BADI, Enhancement Points).
- Collaborate with functional teams (SD, MM, FICO, HCM, etc.) to gather technical requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Develop and support ALV Reports, Module Pool Programs, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, BAPIs, BADIs, IDOCs, and RFCs.
- Troubleshoot and debug ABAP code, ensuring optimal performance and system stability.
- Participate in system upgrades, patching, and migration activities (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA).
- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and documentation protocols.
- Collaborate with BASIS and Security teams for transports and authorizations.
- Perform unit testing, peer reviews, and provide support during integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 37 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Proficiency in core ABAP (Reports, BDC, BAPI, BADI, ALE/IDOC, SmartForms, Adobe Forms).
- Strong understanding of SAP data dictionary, performance tuning, and debugging.
- Exposure to at least one SAP module (SD, MM, FICO, PP, HCM, etc.).
- Experience in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with functional/business teams.
- Knowledge of SAP best practices and development methodologies
