SAP ABAP Developer - RAP Model

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with expertise in the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. This hybrid role offers exposure to cutting-edge S/4HANA development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize custom ABAP programs and RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) using ABAP 7.4+ syntax.

- Build and extend S/4HANA applications using RAP, implementing business object behavior definitions and CDS views, ensuring alignment with SAP's clean core principles.

- Design, configure, and troubleshoot SAP Workflows and develop/maintain Web Dynpro applications.

- Configure and troubleshoot ALE/IDoc interfaces to ensure seamless data exchange between SAP and external systems.

- Collaborate with functional teams across SD, MM, FI, and other modules to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Debug and resolve issues across the development lifecycle using SAP development tools for debugging and performance analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-7 years of hands-on ABAP development experience.

- Strong command of ABAP 7.4 syntax and RICEF objects.

- Mandatory experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model).

- Expertise in SAP Workflow design and implementation.

- Experience in Web Dynpro development.

- Solid understanding of ALE/IDoc configuration and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with SAP modules like SD, MM, FI (preferred).

- Proficiency in SAP debugging and performance tuning.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
