About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join our dynamic team in Noida. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and implementation of robust and efficient custom SAP ABAP solutions. You will play a crucial part in enhancing our SAP landscape, ensuring it aligns with evolving business requirements and contributes to our operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Custom Development : Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements from scratch, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.

- Module-Specific Development : Work extensively on ABAP development specifically related to core SAP modules, including Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Financial Accounting (FI), and Human Resources (HR).

- Form & Report Optimization : Develop and optimize a variety of SAP reports, including classical reports, interactive ALV reports, and advanced forms such as SAP Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.

- Enhancements & Integrations : Implement complex SAP enhancements, including user exits, Business Add-Ins (BADIs), and Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPIs), to extend standard SAP functionalities.

- Debugging & Performance Tuning : Proactively debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing ABAP code to improve performance, resolve issues, and ensure system stability.

- Collaborative Solutioning : Collaborate closely with functional consultants to thoroughly understand intricate business requirements and effectively translate them into precise and efficient technical specifications and solutions.

- System Support : Provide technical support for SAP system upgrades, migrations, and ongoing performance tuning activities to ensure optimal system health and responsiveness.

- Quality Assurance : Adhere rigorously to best practices in coding standards, comprehensive documentation, and robust version control using tools like SAP Transport Management System (TMS) or external SCM systems.

Required Technical Skills :

SAP ABAP Expertise :

- Strong proficiency in core SAP ABAP programming concepts and techniques.

- Hands-on experience with object-oriented ABAP (OOABAP).

- Deep understanding and practical experience in developing and enhancing solutions across SAP SD, MM, FI, and HR modules.

Reporting & Forms :

- Proven experience in developing ALV reports (classic and object-oriented).

- Proficiency in designing and developing Smart Forms and Adobe Forms.

Enhancements & Integrations :

- Extensive experience with User Exits, BADIs, and BAPIs.

- Knowledge of various integration techniques like RFC, IDOCs, Web Services (SOAP/REST).

Debugging & Performance :

- Advanced debugging skills and experience with ABAP Debugger.

- Ability to analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance (e.g., SQL traces, runtime analysis).

Database Knowledge :

- Solid understanding of SAP data dictionary, tables, and relationships.

- Experience with Open SQL and Native SQL.

Tools & Methodologies :

- Proficiency with SAP ECC or S/4HANA development environment.

- Familiarity with ABAP Workbench (SE80), Data Dictionary (SE11), Function Builder (SE37), etc.

- Understanding of standard SAP development lifecycle and transport management.

Desired Skills (Bonus Points) :

- Experience with S/4HANA specific ABAP (e.g., CDS Views, AMDP).

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integration with ABAP backend.

- Experience with SAP Workflow.

- Understanding of SAP BW/BI integration.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
